And I’m not a travel enthusiast.
Today I leave my dearest darling Nollie until the 18th of February. I’m heading to Phoenix for work, then back to DC for one jolly evening and a slumber party with my girl Kimmy. The next morning three of us single girls are heading to Jamaica for some sun and to get away from this cray DC weather.
And then, after one day to decompress it’s back to work before a jaunt via MegaBus up to New York, where I’ll be meeting my girlfriend to help her move into her new place in Brooklyn. So glad she made it, without me (which is sad), but maybe I will be more ready to change cities next year.
I’m going to need a vacation from these “vacations”.
Let the stress begin.
By the way, anyone ever been to Phoenix? What’s fun around there that doesn’t require a car or a ton of liquor?

I was only in Phoenix once for a short time, but thought it sucked. It’s pretty ugly and bland. But I’m sure you will find something to do there. At least it has sun which Seattle rarely does.
So far we’ve only gone out for dinner at a place called The Arrogant Butcher. It was fine. I was too tired to go out last night. Flying takes a lot out of you. Plus I gotta be on my A game to set up my bookstore today.
Well good luck in finding something cool in Phoenix. Get it, something cool in Phoenix. Ughhh. Sorry about that.
